I decided to enlist the help of Jonathan 16 months ago. I was running/ cycling regularly and I wanted to start strength training - but I didn’t have the knowledge or confidence to try it!
Jonathan introduced me to lifting weights and I am now a complete convert. From the beginning he has been friendly, patient and encouraging - and I am a slow leaner! At the end of every session, he takes the time to point out improvements, gains and things that I did well- which is exactly the encouragement I need to keep going. He also strikes the balance well - he pushes me to do things, but doesn’t push me so hard that I dont want to come back.

I’m hardly bloated anymore and I’m starting to notice changes to muscle definition when I’m active. My stomach is a lot flatter and I can feel abs which is strange haha. Down from 10st 6 to 10st. Down 1% body fat. Feel a lot better and more activate - work drains me a LOT less and I still feel happy to work a full on-call night shift and be able to workout after. I started training with Jon last January when I wanted to lose weight for my sisters wedding. With the combination of weights and cardio in each session I was not only losing weight, but I could see and feel myself getting fitter and stronger. He tailors each session to specific goals, by incorporating new and different exercises that I would never attempt myself! The sessions are hard but Jon pushes me to do more by encouraging me and the belief that I can do more than I realise. Jon not only sends me tailored workouts for in between sessions, but also has given me diet and meal plan advice.
