I decided to enlist the help of Jonathan 16 months ago. I was running/ cycling regularly and I wanted to start strength training – but I didn’t have the knowledge or confidence to try it!
Jonathan introduced me to lifting weights and I am now a complete convert. From the beginning he has been friendly, patient and encouraging – and I am a slow leaner! At the end of every session, he takes the time to point out improvements, gains and things that I did well- which is exactly the encouragement I need to keep going. He also strikes the balance well – he pushes me to do things, but doesn’t push me so hard that I dont want to come back.

Jon is a fantastic PT. I’ve been working with him for the past 12 months. During this time, he has helped me to improve my posture and achieve my body build goals in becoming fitter and stronger. During the sessions he ensures I keep the correct form and posture while exercising to better achieve my goals. He has also provided me with workout programs to do between sessions in the gym. During lockdown he has kept me motivated to not let it go and keep training, and has given me a series of workout plans every week, to do. I definitely recommend Jon. His sessions are very good and he’s a very encouraging person and supportive.

I’m hardly bloated anymore and I’m starting to notice changes to muscle definition when I’m active. My stomach is a lot flatter and I can feel abs which is strange haha. Down from 10st 6 to 10st. I started training with Jon last January when I wanted to lose weight for my sisters wedding. With the combination of weights and cardio in each session I was not only losing weight, but I could see and feel myself getting fitter and stronger. He tailors each session to specific goals, by incorporating new and different exercises that I would never attempt myself! The sessions are hard but Jon pushes me to do more by encouraging me and the belief that I can do more than I realise. Jon not only sends me tailored workouts for in between sessions, but also has given me diet and meal plan advice. Been working with Jon for the last 10 weeks and in that time have seen a huge change. Weight is down 9.1kg, but I really like Jon’s approach to weight, I use to be glued to the scales and if I saw an increase I would beat myself up. Jon’s approach has helped me realise it’s not all about the scales but how my body changes and how clothes fit. I also enjoy how Jon will work with you and set a calorie goal based on your activity levels. Jon encourages you not to be strict with food, I am 9.1kg down but haven’t had given up maccies, kfc, Dominos, treats etc, I am just more mindful on macros. Anyone thinking of getting a PT, I highly recommend Jon, his sessions are enjoyable (at the end) but honestly, I’ve never felt better than what I do now!
